Meet our Teen Tech Center Summer Interns! They'll be supporting us throughout our "Go-Skate and Create" programming.
Mia Bella (She/Her): Mia Bella was born in the East Bay and raised in San Jose but has had a diverse upbringing having also lived in Hawaii and Idaho. She's a multidimensional being with a heart to learn from all ethnic cultures. Mia has worked with her family in the Latinx and African communities from Sacramento to the Bay Area, assisting youth to elders in the leadership of self-care, holistic medicine, and nutrition-conscious foods. She is enriching her skill sets in photography, videography, and music/beat production. Mia enjoys nature hikes, BMX ride-outs, skateboarding, reading, and being around animals.
Alessandra (She/Her): Alessandra, born and raised in San Jose, is an artist, TTC member and intern. She has been attending the TTC for more than 4 years now. Alessandra is currently a senior in high school who is interested in photography, arts, and crafts.
Marlene (She/Her): Born and raised in San Jose, Marlene has always wanted to give back to her community. Marlene is finishing up her AA at De Anza College and this fall she will be pursuing her BA in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She hopes to attend law school and pursue a career in immigration law. In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and rewatching episodes of New Girl.

There’s still space to sign up and you don’t have to know how to skateboard or want to skateboard we’re just focusing on skateboarding and it’s history in San Jose art and culture.
