Hip Hop Coach Position – ESUHSD

We’re looking for a Hip Hop Coach to work with high school dance students at Yerba Buena, Silver Creek, and Independence High Schools during the 2025–26 school year.

Schedule

• Mondays @ Yerba Buena (all year)

• 12:35–2:15 PM – Intermediate Dance

• 2:25–4:00 PM – Advanced Dance

• Tuesdays @ Independence & Silver Creek (all year)

• IHS 10:22–11:16 AM – Jazz Dance 1

• IHS 11:37–12:27 PM – Jazz Dance 2

• Silver Creek 1:08–2:00 PM – Dance

• IHS 2:55–3:45 PM – Theater Dance Company

(travel compensation suggested for Silver Creek/Indy split)

Performances & Rehearsals

• ESUHSD Dance Invitational – Sat, Jan 24, 2026

• IndepenDANCE Concerts – May 2, 3, 7, 9, 10

• Silver Creek HS Concert – TBA

• Yerba Buena Annual Dance Concert – May 11–15 (Tech, Dress, 2 Performances; after school until ~9–11 PM)

Tentative Pay

• $50/hour (≈ $0.83/minute)

• YB Mondays = 195 mins ($161.85)

• Indy/Silver Tuesdays = 169 mins ($140.50)

• Weekly total = $302.35

• 32 weeks = $9,675 for the year

• Adding performance hours = ~$10K

• Choreography set on students

• Footage from teaching a class .dance
