SUPER MEXICA MARIO: a new acrylic painting on a 3D printed game cartridge for the Nintendo64 group art show The image comes from the original design for the game with a slight twist of lime, picante, and cultura Mexa. FRONT VIEW: Mario has an eagle warrior helmet flying through the sky with an ancient pyramid in the background. The work celebrates my interest and research into Mesoamerican culture, symbolism, and contemporary culture. BACKSIDE: Mexica Mario is floating through the water with his sidekick Yoshi to a new land. Catch this piece and many more at the show OPENING June 4th from 6-10pm at Cassa Jam in Fremont. Go catch them while you can! Much love your artsy homie, Rayos Magos🙌🏽✨⚡️👾

LINOCUT WORKSHOP round two: Last night we had 13 people come out for my second linocut workshop! The room was beautiful to witness. Folks drew in silence planning out their designs. Once we got to the carving the real magic began. The final step of printing made the room light up as folks revealed the fruits of their labor. My goal for students is that they continue printing and making new work. Thanks again for watching and joining! Until the next workshop my print friends:) Stay tuned for future workshops. Warmly, your neighborhood printmaker, Rayos Magos🙌🏽⚡️✨

Stephen’s Meats: is a new mixed media textured painting that I made. The piece is inspired by childhood nostalgia and vintage signs of places I grew up seeing. Stephens Meats used to be next to the Caltrain and the neon sign lit up at night with the little piggy moving. The place is now gone but the sign is etched in my memory and now exists at thanks to .sj I made this piece with no real place for it to go or be shown. It now exists in the world and is available for purchase. Feel free to DM me for serious inquiries. Your magical artist friend, Rayos Magos🤘🏽⚡️✨🐷🐖
