Our mission at 1442 Fulton Street is to provide a safe and focused space where the only thing your student has to worry about is schoolwork. We’re taking the following precautions to make sure we stay true to this mission.
Requiring Face masks - Once on Fulton Street property, face masks are required at all times.
Social Distancing - Students work stations will be kept over 6 feet apart at all times. If an assistant has to be closer to a student to help them, they will take all the necessary precautions and should never make physical contact.
Temperature Checks - Temperatures will be taken upon entering and leaving the building and kept in our records according to the CDC’s temperature log. Students with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be allowed in the center and will be recommended to stay home until their temperature decreases.
Routine cleaning - Surfaces will be wiped down prior to opening, at lunch, and after closing each day.
Isolation measures - While we can not control the actions of our students, standard social distancing practices and sanitary techniques are recommended for their own safety and the safety of other students at the center. The staff on the other hand are restricted to very limited number of locations, which include their homes and the learning center, and exclude indoor restaurants, indoor businesses, nursing homes, hospitals etc. to limit their own exposure to COVID-19 and to limit the risk of exposure students at the center would face.
