Los Mineros Van a España--
(The Miners go to Spain)
Beginning November 2016, Yreka High School launched a foreign exchange program with Spain.
Our school partnered with a Spanish school located thirty minutes from Madrid in a village called Soto Del Real. Yreka students go to Soto every fall to stay with selected host families for a duration of four weeks. In the spring, Spanish students come to Yreka to stay with participating Yreka families. Our first exchange is complete and it turned out to be an incredible experience for everybody i
