Today our toddlers enjoyed a fun color-matching and number recognition activity! 🎨🔢 They practiced matching colors while identifying numbers and strengthening their early math skills.

My 2½-year-old is already showing great number recognition, so I gave him a little extra challenge with bigger numbers to practice! ⭐️ It’s so exciting to meet each child where they are and provide activities that encourage them to keep learning and growing at their own pace. 💕👏

Today our little learners got creative by making bracelets using pipe cleaners and Cheerios! 🌈🧵 They practiced fine motor skills as they carefully threaded the cereal onto the pipe cleaners, creating colorful, wearable masterpieces. We had so much fun exploring creativity while strengthening little hands. Great job, friends! 💛✨

This past weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to be part of the SFDEC Infant & Toddler Conference. We spent time learning about attachment, separation, loss, and grief—important experiences that many children may encounter in their early years.

The conference was filled with meaningful conversations, powerful stories, and valuable insights. We laughed, we cried, and we left with so many takeaways that will help us better support the children and families we serve.

One of the most inspiring parts was being surrounded by passionate, like-minded childcare providers, including some who have dedicated 30+ years to this work. Their wisdom, experience, and commitment to early childhood education were truly motivating.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with such an amazing community. Looking forward to next year’s conference and many more to come!
