"Many of us have set out on the path of enlightenment. We long for a release of self-hood in some kind of mystical union with all things. But that moment of epiphany—when we finally see the whole pattern and sense our place in the cosmic web—can be a crushing experience from which we never fully recover. Compassion hurts. When you feel connected to everything, you also feel responsible for everything. You can not turn away. Your destiny is bound to the destinies of others. You must either learn to carry the Universe or be crushed by it. You must grow strong enough to love the world, yet empty enough to sit down at the same table with its worst horrors. To seek enlightenment is to seek annihilation, rebirth, and the taking up of burdens. You must come prepared to touch and be touched by each and every thing in heaven and hell... to be One with the Universe is going to hurt." - Andrew Boyd, Daily Afflictions: The Agony of Being Connected to Everything in the Universe

Zohran Mamdani is running an inspirational campaign. He is a visionary leader. I support his plan to tax the wealthy capitalistic parasites. Free buses, free childcare, a rent freeze, and city-run grocery stores would make life easier for people. America faces a choice: will we continue with a corporate-dominated politics driven by billionaires or will we build a grass-root movement fueled by everyday people? There is a reason Zohran resonates with so many New Yorkers - he is straightforward, sincere, and a man of personal integrity. Stand with Zohran! I hope Zohran Mamdani will win! I wish him a good luck! ❤️🇺🇸🙏🏼✊

As an American, I was disgusted by the way President Zelensky was treated today by Trump. It was unpatriotic and un-American. Trump is a disgrace to America! President Zelensky is a hero! Stand with Ukraine! Resist! 🇺🇦🇺🇸❤️

Zelenskyy is a HERO. Trump is a ZERO.

Zelensky takes on Putin apologists, US skeptics on 3-hour Lex Fridman podcast 01/08/2025

In his recent interview with Fridman, President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a masterclass in diplomacy and resilience. While Russian agent Lex Fridman, whose background is tied to Moscow (his real name is Alexei Fedotov), attempted to subtly insert Kremlin narratives, Zelensky effectively countered each attempt with clarity and conviction. Zelensky highlighted the unwavering determination of the Ukrainian people in the face of Russia's unprovoked aggression, stressing the importance of global unity in supporting Ukraine’s right to self-determination. He also detailed the immense sacrifices Ukrainians are making daily to defend their independence, freedom and their future.

For anyone seeking to understand the truth behind Russia’s brutal invasion and the remarkable leadership Ukraine has shown, this interview is a must-watch. Just this clip demonstrates how separated from reality many are who parrot the convicted criminal Putin's lie. Zelensky's ability to remain calm and composed, while rejecting the Kremlin's disinformation, underscores his strategic acumen and moral clarity. Throughout the interview, President Zelensky lays out the case for continued international support to the Ukrainian cause. Watch the full conversation to gain deeper insight into the ongoing fight for Ukraine’s survival and the global implications of Russia's war. 🇺🇦

Zelensky takes on Putin apologists, US skeptics on 3-hour Lex Fridman podcast In a newly released three-hour interview, U.S. podcaster Lex Fridman tried to persuade President Volodymyr Zelensky that Russian President Vladimir Putin is “a serious person who loves his country." “He loves his inner circle. It’s only a small part of the people. He doesn't love (the Russian ...

The Price of a Bad Peace

1000 days of war…We will never give up! Ukraine will be a member of NATO. Outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden’s belated decision to allow Ukraine to use U.S. missiles to strike targets deep within Russian territory is a godsend. Use US arms to strike back inside Russia harder. There is no point in telling you for the thousandth time that we are dealing with cruel monsters. Russia is a terrorist state and pure evil.

In Ukraine’s struggle against Russia, the election of Trump as the next U.S. president was a black and tragic event. Trump and his closest allies openly disparaged Kyiv and made overtures to Russian president Putin. Trump made threats to pull out of NATO and cut a deal with Putin. Thus, with this transition of power begins a new chapter of the war in which Western support for Ukraine could fall by the wayside. Trump is not interested in leading the fight for democracy. The West is tired and seeking a settlement with the Russian aggressor instead. The problem is that any deal will amount to Ukraine’s—and the West’s—capitulation to Russia.

Meanwhile, a closer look would reveal that Putin has no need for lasting peace. No human toll is too high for Russia. A large constituency fighting Russia’s war is national minorities, often from depressed economic areas and the lowest strata of society. And now, those minorities are joined by North Korean soldiers and potentially by citizens of the other dictatorships that Putin courts. However, Putin is not as invincible as he seems. Unless Russia is decisively defeated on the battlefield or Putin is given precisely what he wants, he will not stop. Russia must be militarily defeated.

The price of a bad peace is too high. Putin will never agree to a thriving, independent, armed, and Western-aligned Ukraine on his border, because he would lose too much face. He will therefore demand an unviable Ukraine—without an army and without NATO membership—and, in effect, a Western surrender. The issue of European security cannot be solved by a settlement with Russia because appeasement only increases the aggressor’s appetite. Only the containment of Putin’s expansionism by military means will remove the existential threat to his neighbors. So long as there is an aggressive, revanchist Russia in the picture, peace is an illusion.

The whole world must use all its power to destroy the Russian agressor. Light always wins over darkness. Ukraine will win!
