Our dear friend David is working on something incredible.

On April 10-11, 2016, STAND: The Student-Led Movement to End Mass Atrocities, Together We Remember, Crowdcast, and a growing coalition of partners will convene young people across the world in the first ever live-streamed, digital memorial commemorating victims of genocide from the 20th and 21st centuries.

All are invited to host a 1 to 24-hour name reading in a central location in their community and share their experience live on social media using the hashtag . The campaign will unite communities in solidarity, give voice to the victims of genocides past and present, and compel our political leaders to honor the rights of those affected by genocide - to memory, justice, healing, and safe refuge. As a critical alternative to the divisiveness dominating our global airwaves, please share this invitation far and wide so that thousands of voices come together on April 10-11 to declare as one:

“ humanity at its worst to inspire humanity to be its best.” To get involved, sign up to host a name reading in your community, join the global Facebook event, and email [email protected] with any partnership opportunities or questions.
