When I think of summer, the first thing that usually comes to mind is the years I spent marching drum corps with .
This past weekend I had so much fun reconnecting with other alumni from the corps and watching shows at DCI West. While SCV may be on hiatus for the time being, it was still great to see so many people show up and be proud to represent our beloved corps.

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸🦅🤍
Celebrated our nation today by attending the Redwood City 4th of July Parade and then Santa Clara’s All City Picnic!! 🇺🇸🤍
I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the men (and women 😘) who died and gave that right to me.
May today not only be a celebration of the freedoms we have in this country, but also a reminder that we all have a voice and the power to advocate for the change we want to see in this world. Here’s to a future of growth, equality, change, love, and justice for all ❤️❤️❤️
