Julia was a true pioneer, the first woman licensed as an architect in California and one of the most prolific designers in American history. With over 700 buildings to her name, she masterfully blended elegance, innovation, and craftsmanship most famously at Hearst Castle.

Her work continues to shape the built environment and inspire generations of architects today.
