Phi Sigma Sigma was established on November 26, 1913 at Hunter College in New York, New York. Phi Sigma Sigma was the first Nonsectarian National Sorority, meaning they are not affiliated with, or preferential to any religious domination; they were the first National Sorority to distinguish themselves in this way. Phi Sigma Sigma at SF State is a sorority that promotes lifelong learning, leadershi

p through service, and inclusiveness amongst it members and community. Phi Sigma Sigma is proud to have become an international sorority, with over 150 chapters in the United States and Canada.
