Mediterrasian Landscapes was founded by Richard Held in January of 2004. Having grown up in New York City, he was interested in urban spaces.
Richard's love of art and nature led him to attend the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, School of Landscape Architecture. He studied the ways that design could affect people’s feelings and behavior. He watched the ways in which children learned from their environments and began to design playscapes. As a State of California licensed landscape contractor, our landscape designer will work directly with you to incorporate your ideas and style preferences, using the specific climate and natural characteristics of your space and your family's needs to create your custom landscape design. Our professional team can then provide you with any level of support required in the installation and maintenance of your garden.
