The event convenes more than 30 health and human service organizations and mobilizes nearly 100 volunteers to provide free health education and screening opportunities for 500-900+ low income community members annually.

In the late 90's when the Chinatown Community Health Fair started up, approximately 24% of the attendees were uninsured. After passage of the Affordable Care Act/ Obamacare, that percentage was reduced to fewer than 7% in recent years. Now, under the Trump administration's Draconian health care policies, the rate of participants is anticipated to reach double-digits again
