Chinatown Community Health Fair Provides free health education and screening opportunities for 500-900+ low income community members annually.

The annual Chinatown Community Health Fair is organized by Asian Women's Resource Center (Gum Moon) and NICOS Chinese Health Coalition. The event convenes more than 30 health and human service organizations and mobilizes nearly 100 volunteers to provide free health education and screening opportunities for 500-900+ low income community members annually.

Because of Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill," many will lose food and medical benefits.

"(CalFresh and Medi-Cal) recipients who are aged 18 to 64 — and who do not live with a child under the age of 14 — will have to prove that they are completing at least 20 hours of work a week to continue receiving food and healthcare."
