Join Guild Freelancers and the Center for Integration & Improvement of Journalism for a day of workshops to reboot your career, refresh your skills and renew your inspiration. Be there Saturday, May 4 when Guild Freelancers throws its (kinda) annual Spring Training for Journalists — an upbeat, day-long event that provides journalists in all media with a rich palette of ideas and skills. Breakout s

essions will focus on:
* Breaking into radio
* Pitching to magazines
* Finding great visuals
* Getting started in multimedia
* Advanced FOIA and public records techniques
* And much more! This year, we have a new partner — San Francisco State University’s Center for Integration and Improvement of Journalism — and a new location: the SFSU main campus at 1600 Holloway Ave. (Just e-mail your name and info to [email protected]).
