Hey everyone. We’re planning to host a matcha-themed UCSD alumni event sometime in March.

A UCSD alum who owns Breakaway Matcha has agreed to help host, and we’re deciding between two location options:

Option 1: San Anselmo (Marin County)
Pros: Closer to Breakaway Matcha (more involvement/support), unique change of scenery. The event would be on a Saturday evening, making the drive more manageable.
Cons: Longer commute for many Bay Area attendees.

Option 2: San Francisco (Dolores Park or Golden Gate Park)
Pros: More convenient and accessible for most people. Breakaway Matcha is willing to travel to SF if we choose this option.
