Greetings! Our client Shawn found a pretty sweet 1969 Telecaster in a dumpster, needless to say it needs quite a bit of work! So, of course, he brought it to us for a refret. Shawn also asked us to replace the rusty old stock saddles with some brand new Gotoh In-Tune Compensated Saddles. As the saddles were being installed, we noticed that all of the screws holding the bridge to the body were stripped. Here's a tutorial on how to properly extract a stripped, broken screw and how to dowel and redrill the new hole! Thanks for watching! And, as always, if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment or give us a call!
Strings going sharp on a guitar is quite common and a very real problem! Many people automatically assume it's something wrong with their tuning machines; however, this is rarely the case. Most tuning anomalies actually occur at the nut - here are a few tips on how to correct this problem yourself!
Today's hot topic: Restringing! There are many ways to restring a guitar; however, we find the method presented in this video to be the best and most stable - enjoy! 🎸🎸🎸

A long journey has come to an end! Spent quite a bit of time on this very unique project - we converted an Ibanez JEM into a totally sweet slide guitar! Installed a titanium Floyd Rose w/ hollowpoint intonation screws (rare gear alert!!), Lollar string-thru steel bridge pup w/ phase switching, Lollar Goldfoil in the neck, custom routing and pickguard, custom nut and shelf as a replacement for a typical Floyd locking nut - looks stellar!
