🥳 We’re elated to share that Mercury Soul has been selected as a 2026–27 San Francisco Arts Commission / Grants for the Arts grantee! 🎉

This year, SFAC and GFTA are investing more than $25 million in artists and arts organizations across San Francisco, supporting the people and institutions that keep the city’s cultural life vibrant.

We’re incredibly grateful to be among this year’s grantees and for the support of Mercury Soul’s work bringing classical music, electronic music, immersive visuals, and new audiences together in unexpected spaces.

Thank you, San Francisco Arts Commission and GFTA, for investing in San Francisco’s artists and cultural community. ✨

If you’re looking for a Saturday night plan in the Bay, this one is squarely in the lane.

✨Opening today: Smuin Contemporary Ballet’s French Kiss brings a bold, music-driven program to the Bay Area, with performances in Mountain View, Walnut Creek, and San Francisco through October 18.

The program brings together Amy Seiwert’s colorful French Kiss, a world premiere by My’Kal Stromile, and Michael Smuin’s moving Stabat Mater, returning to the stage for the first time since 2016.

If you love live performance that plays with movement, music, emotion, and surprise, put this on your list.

🌟🌟🌟

Always good to connect with my dear friend Rob Garza, fresh off a big tour with Thievery Corporation, and discuss all manner of topics under the sun. It’s rare for such an extraordinary talent and cultural icon to be so down to earth. Rob has also been a great friend to Mercury Soul over the years, sharing our love of bringing electronic and classical music into unexpected spaces and creating new kinds of musical experiences.

Throughout the year, Mercury Soul donors receive invitations to exclusive gatherings that bring them closer to the artists, music, and ideas behind our work. These intimate events are one of the ways we thank the community whose support makes our immersive productions, inventive collaborations, and education programs possible.

Last season took Mercury Soul across San Francisco, from the Asian Art Museum and de Young Museum to Grace Cathedral and Saint Joseph’s Arts Society.

Different spaces, different sounds, and one idea at the center of it all: bringing classical music and electronic music together in unexpected places, surrounded by immersive visuals and an audience free to experience it all a little differently.

We’re looking back at some favorite moments from an incredible season as we get ready for what’s next.

New Mercury Soul shows are coming soon. Stay tuned. 🎶

A Mercury Soul experience is about so much more than what happens onstage. ✨ A big thank you to Char.cuterie San Francisco (Char.cuterie | EcoChic Charcuterie Art), a longtime supporter of Mercury Soul who has helped make so many of our events both beautiful and delicious.

Throwing it back to this incredible spread at the Asian Art Museum, where Char.cuterie helped us create a night bringing together music, immersive design, food, and community.

We’re so grateful for the local partners who help bring the full Mercury Soul experience to life. Thank you, Char.cuterie!
