As an entrepreneur I used to sit at my desk waiting for the ideas to come and the breakthrough moments to happen. I thought that since I was at my desk I was 'working hard', and doing what I was supposed to do to build a strong foundation for my business.
But you know that's not how s**t really happens. We get inspired when we let our brain take a rest, or when we have external stimuli to make us think differently about something. Our best ideas come not when their forced, but when they are given space to emerge.
Now this is coming from someone who used to manage project timelines like a damn pro. Letting go of linear processes and my own timeline has been a huge lesson for me over the past 8 years.
Lesson #3 (out of 5)
🦉 When you are creating and innovating something from your heart, it's best to get out of your trained thinking that structures and processes will best help you get from A to B. Loosen up, and change up your routine and you'll find something fresh will shake loose.
