The Labor and Community Studies Department of City College of San Francisco is very proud to partner with CityBuild to offer a Labor History & Life Skills course. Their students go through a life-changing 12 week program that prepares them for work in the Trades. In the words of one our students "Solidarity is a life skill!"

Starbucks workers kick off 65-store US strike on company's busy Red Cup Day More than 1,000 unionized Starbucks workers are on strike Thursday at 65 U.S. stores. The strike has closed some stores on Starbucks’ Red Cup Day, which is typically one of the company’s busiest days of the year.
