Sometimes when I meet new folks and say my name they say “Ah, your last name is like the cherries” 🍒
To which I say “yeah, it’s similar but it’s not the same”.
My last name is pronounced “meh-rah-cheeno” which is the authentic Italian way to say it.
The cherries are pronounced “meh-rah-sheeno” I think. But who knows. 😜🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m used to people butchering my name. It’s all good. What about you? Do you have a tricky name? How do you correct folks if at all?

Hey- so I just published a podcast and I’m curious if it will resonate with you:
It’s about chasing happiness.

You know- the notorious goalposts that we have in our lives: getting accepted to dental school, graduating, getting a good job, maybe getting married, having kids, making money, etc.
The goals go on an on.

Where does our happiness fit into the equation and at what point do we allow ourselves to just be happy?
