Hard to believe a year has passed since the university closed. I am blessed to have been part of the university community for 9 years. Great to continue relationships with some of the Holy Names sisters, faculty, staff and of course students.
Blessings to all as we celebrate Thanksgiving. In spite of the many challenges, we have much to be grateful for!

Check another opportunity to stop at the gate and give a prayer of thanks for all that has been another prayer that this sacred ground will be a place where others will continue to grow in all that is good, wisdom, knowledge, and grace.
How strange-I am not preparing for a student orientation, new student retreat, welcome mass, nor the welcome back mass. After 32 years as a Campus Minister here I am in a new place and on a new journey. In the midst of all the packing, moving, and unpacking, I know I need time to step back and process all of this. Time to grieve and let go, time to give thanks for all of the folks who have supported me. I also go forward in hope!
As part of our Holy Names University community, I invite you to take some quiet time to reflect on your journey.  What do you need to grieve? What are you thankful for? What gives you hope as you look to the future?

Greetings all. I will continue to host this page for awhile and see if it proves to be a positive way for HNU alumni, supporters and friends to connect. Meanwhile be gentle and kind with one another.
