On the 51st year of the declaration of Martial Law in the Philippines, Kapwa Health Collective commemorates the founding of Community Based Health Programs under the Marcos dictatorship.
We recognize the need to address the root causes of health inequity through collective participation and organization in the struggle to transform society. In the face of criminal neglect, we uplift the legacy of Dr. Naty Castro, Zara Alvarez, and all the other community health workers that have been targeted by the Philippine government for selflessly serving the people.

📆 As we the days approach closer to the 51st Anniversary of Martial Law, we want to share what is currently happening in the Philippines, specifically what has been happening with Marcos traveling to meet with different heads of states while in office.
