Ocean Ridge (E55) on the Sonoma Coast in Northern California is one of the more challenging runways around with tall trees, upslope with a crest in the middle. Add in that it's on the top of a ridgeline and the normal visual references don't apply so it's hard to gauge if your on target until your near short final.

Nice landing at San Carlos. Flair is a little high and left of centerline. The student holds altitude at about a foot off the ground. Good landing overall.
