Robert Battle, US Navy Veteran, NAVMC Train-the-Trainer Instructor, Author of the book Rise of the Sons of Darkness, recent Stand-Up Comedian, and experienced Storyteller, reached out to staff at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House to schedule a visit to create and tell custom stories to children staying and visiting the House.⁠ ⁠ Robert asked each child to pick any subject or thing they like, and Robert creates a story based on their selection. The interaction between our young guests and Rob was not only imagination-making, but touching to watch and filled the House’s Family Care Center with wonder.⁠ ⁠ We love when our community members bring their talents and spend their time here at the House with our families.
