What an unforgettable afternoon of celebration, reflection, and community at SDCCE's Juneteenth Celebration! ❤️🖤💚
Students, employees, and community members came together to honor the significance of freedom through inspiring music by Myesha Henderson, a captivating dance performance by Brian Bennett, powerful poetry from Msz. England, and a thought-provoking "Freedom in the Future" presentation by Dr. LaWana Richmond.
The event served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of history, culture, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and opportunity for all.
