0 F’s GIVEN FOR MY STUDENT 😷NURSE TESTAMENT🙌🏽SUNDAY, SO LET ME BE REAL.

Nursing school is a military boot camp that challenges us mentally, academically, emotionally & even physically from our sleepless nights & being malnourished from living off the dollar menu. This nursing life will be the toughest journey that you will ever experience, but it’s the most rewarding career to enter in our world of healthcare. I’m a true testament🤓😷

BREAKING TRADITION;
I am the first🇲🇽Hispanic individual to ever enter the medical field in my family. My whole Nursing journey from day one has been nothing but a “COME UP” & remembering to always stay humble, grounded & most importantly be yourself as you gave thanks everyday for living & being in the moment to love. I’m a true testament🤓😷

BUILDING MY EMPIRE;
My 🇲🇽Hispanic grandparents came to this country working 6-7 days a week providing for my familia without days off due to not having the luxury of utilizing “Vacation time” for a day of rest or for a mental break day just to provide for our family. Therefore, I would mentally use that as my fuel to complete my Main Mission & Vision which was to complete the Nursing Program & change the 🌏World of Nursing to spark the minds of others like my followers through all social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat & being able to present at UCLA, Chico State, FIU colleges & having an opportunity to be on TV “Doctors Show” to explain how wonderful the Healthcare field is helping & saving lives. I’m a true testament🤓😷.

CARDIACSTRONG NURSE:
I will leave you with this though my fellow ❤️💪🏽 RN’s & Student RN’s. Regardless whatever you’re facing in your current nursing challenges as we speak or any other type of stressors like bills, relationships, hardships, family, friends, children while trying to become an RN should know that “ITS ALL WORTH THE STRUGGLE.” I’m a true testament🤓😷.

“A nurse just knows.

No matter how policies shift or times change, one thing never does: How much you care. How hard you fight.

Nurses give everything they’ve got, every second of the day—for their patients, for each other, for what’s right.

And that’s something that will never change.

Happy Nurses Week!💙🧡🩷” -

You Won’t Learn THIS in Nursing School, But You’ll See It FAST in Real Life, a RECLUSIVE 🕷🕸SPIDER BITE.

TAG YOUR BESTIE WHO LOVES SPIDERS

🕷This person was bitten by a spider, but little did he know that it had been a recluse spider!

🕷This patient left it untreated and allowed the venom to cause these lesions. Scientists say this venom contains a rare protein that can cause a lesion as well as a much less common, but more dangerous systemic reaction in humans.

🕷The most common response is inflammation which, after one to two days, can develop into a “dark lesion” surrounding the bite site. The blackening, or “necrosis”, of the skin is dead skin cells, evidence of the immune system’s efforts to prevent spread of the toxin by preventing blood flow to the affected area.

🕷The post shows the wound after necrectomy (removal of the dead tissue). It was then left open and filled with these cool penrose drains. So these type of Penrose drains are used in wounds that cannot be completely debrided and in the presence of residual foreign material, massively contaminated and viable tissue & fluid-filled dead spaces.

😷What are your thoughts my fellow & fam?

According to Factory work used to be Americans’ most reliable ticket to the middle class. Office jobs offered another dependable route. But as automation, globalized manufacturing, and now artificial intelligence threaten or narrow some of these paths, healthcare jobs have become the surest bet. At a time of uncertainty in the labor market, nursing offers not only stability but, for some, a pathway to real prosperity.

The median annual wage for registered nurses in the U.S. is $93,600, compared with $49,500 for all occupations, according to the Labor Department. For nurse practitioners and others with advanced degrees, it is $132,050.

Healthcare has generated some of the most consistent job growth of any U.S. profession since the early 1980s, thanks to soaring healthcare spending and the aging population. The sector was the largest source of job creation in the U.S. last year, as many other industries cooled or contracted. That trend continued in January, though employment in the sector dropped in February, partly because of nursing strikes in New York City and elsewhere.

The profession’s future, though, looks bright. The Labor Department projects that employment of advanced-degree nurses will increase by 35% from 2024 to 2034, eclipsing the expected 3% growth across all occupations. Registered-nurse employment is projected to rise 5% over that period.

💉Time to bring in the “REINFORCEMENTS”💉As a Registered Nurse we become I.V. leaguers but saying you have nice veins is not a pick up line my fellow NurseBrothers and NurseSisters😅

Let’s keep it 💯% real & stop me when I lie when I say it does feel great to get that flash return once that IV is inserted on a hard stick from the other 3-4 nurses that failed. .

If you’re always scared out of your wits every time someone asks you to insert an IV line, you’re not alone. IV therapy is a delicate procedure that one can only master through the right information and clinical experience so remember practice makes perfect, unless they are dehydrated, chronic smoker and or they receive dialysis.
What are your IV therapy Useful Tips for Nurses??
