My unpopular take on burning out:

Under capitalism, burning out is inevitable. It can’t necessarily be outsmarted.

Neurodivergent people burnout

more frequently but get out of it

sooner than a neurotypical person.

Boundaries can be helpful but are not

the way out of burnout.

Burning out is our body’s way of

repelling the unnatural and

nonsensical conditions of capitalism.

Don’t take burnout advice from

“experts” who have no race, class, or

gender analysis.

Burning out is congruent with grief.

There is no fixed timeline or remedy

out of burn-out.

Fela Kuti music helps process

burnout and move stagnant emotions

in the body.

Burnout is a sign of integrity, not

dysfunction.

If your business felt scattered in 2025, you’re not alone. Scrambling to launch, unclear timelines, offers that never got finished—most of us are moving through uncertainty with no real structure.

This planning workshop is for creatives with busy brains who are ready to stop guessing. Together, we’ll build a 12-month map that makes sense for your energy, responsibilities, and the kind of work you actually want to do.

Here’s what we’ll do:
• Zoom out and map January through December
• Mark personal, community, and non-negotiable life events first
• List your unfinished ideas and choose a few core offers
• Attach real dates for launches, content, rest, and recovery

Forget planning like a capitalisy machine, plan based on capacity and what the world is asking of us now.

This is a Nalgona Positivity Pride event. Two dates available. Details in bio.

Happening tomorrow!!!

Grounding Contemporary Hrm Redux in Ancestral Sovereignty, Land, and Relational Ethics

Modern harm reduction is often traced to the 1980s HIV/AIDS movement. But long before it became public health policy, hrm reduction existed within Indigenous systems of governance.

This session reframes harm reduction as an Indigenous practice of relational sovereignty. A continuation of communal ethics that have always prioritized keeping one another alive.

We will explore how Indigenous hrm reduction challenges carceral logics, reclaims time and language as medicine, and restores relationships disrupted by colonial systems.
