🤯 APENAS doesn't always mean the same thing!

You can use apenas to say:

✨ Hace muy poco → Apenas llegué.
✨ Tan pronto como → Apenas llegue, te aviso.
✨ Casi no → Apenas comí.

Same word, 3 different meanings depending on the context. 👀

Spanish loves making one little word do a LOT of work 😂

🤯 What does "HUBIERA" actually mean?

You’ve probably heard:

✨ Si hubiera sabido... = If I had known...
✨ Si hubiera tenido tiempo... = If I had had time...
✨ Ojalá hubiera ido... = I wish I had gone...

HUBIERA is a form of haber used for hypothetical or unreal situations in the past.

💡 Think: “If this had happened…”

👉 Si hubiera sabido, habría ido.
= If I had known, I would have gone.

This one is tricky, but once you understand the pattern, you'll start hearing it everywhere. 👀

🤔 Would vs. Should in Spanish — they're NOT the same!

✨ WOULD → usually condicional
👉 I would go = Iría
👉 I would like = Me gustaría

✨ SHOULD → usually debería
👉 I should study = Debería estudiar
👉 You should go = Deberías ir

💡 Quick trick:

WOULD = what you would do
SHOULD = what you think is a good idea

👉 Iría = I would go
👉 Debería ir = I should go
