I LOVE working with my adult students. It’s a totally different style of lesson. You're a grown-up, I’m going to talk to you like a grown-up. I expect more out of my adult students. They know what they want coming in, and there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing them grow in their confidence and musicality.
Lip trills are my go-to for warming up! They’re silly and fun and allow me to move through all registers with ease.

I’ve always had an ear for melodies and can pick up songs quickly. Playing them? That’s a different story. Chord progressions are what get me. I know where the music wants me to go, but my fingers don’t always cooperate.
