A planted aquarium does not have to be a lush forest to make a beautiful impact. This 21 gallon river style rimless tank, by Ultum Nature Systems has ultra clear glass and beveled joints. Using natural River Pebbles and Manzanita Wood, the display is simple, yet effective. Plants are Crytocoryne retrospiralis and other Asian plants. Danio tinwini schools in the current, provided by a small SICCE wavemaker,, and the rocks have a group of Cardinia cf. multidentata grooming the algae. There are also three Stiphodon ornatus. This tank is not a biotope, because the livestock cones from different parts of the world, but rather a "biotope-inspired" that represents a clear, flowing stream.
