At least TWO classes this weekend in Los Angeles. So, glad that we have students who want to keep training with us.

Some wait until they get to class to call that training (while not solo training). This G*T Ninong can tell if a student has been practicing or not. We shall see this weekend

G*T Ninong: "I explained to our new student in San Diego that after you memorize the abecedario for cinco teros, the I teach you take elements from what you learn and apply to sparring situation. You have to be able to extract what you learn from cinco teros and apply to real situation, and we do that with sparring. I'm not gonna hold your hand when we do this, but I will point out the obvious, so that you learn from the experience."

G*T NINONG: "I walk everyday through alleys, local neighborhood with arnis stick in hand. I'm swinging, but imaging a 3 on 1 situation, multiple attack, and the sequence of how to handle situation using largo mano, cinco, siete, harabas. I can't help it, but I know that i have to ready if and when a situation like this may happen."
