Our bodies were meant to move!

That is one of the things this injury has reinforced for me.

You may just be starting your journey.

You may not know what to do.

You may have an injury like me and be unsure of what exercises are safe to perform.

Start simple by walking and stretching and moving around rather than sitting around.

I highly recommend finding a qualified competent personal trainer to work with whether that be only one session for guidance and instruction or a series of sessions for a long term exercise plan and support system.

My trainer is extremely knowledgeable with specialized education related to injuries and recovery.

He truly cares about me and my health and happiness and has been instrumental in how far I’ve come, not only with this injury recovery, but with my entire 125-pound weight loss journey.

As I post this at 3:25AM, it’s easy to reflect on all of the excuses we make to avoid another chance at bettering ourselves. Let’s get it, fam.

For a few, maybe 4-5 months now I’ve been 98% focused solely on getting myself to where I haven’t been able to the past 4-5 years, Putting my nutrition at the top of my “fix it” list and putting my training in overdrive. I found guidance through some badass friends and was able to w**d out a majority of the Do**he shaming (while some hurt). Since Instagram was designed(I think) to show people what you’ve been up to, this is it. Ways to go but I’ve got a one track mind with some wildly unrealistic plans for my future that I’ll either succeed with or become a crackhead. It’s definitely a toss up at the moment. Thanks for reading, have a sh*tty day✌🏼.

How are you handling your life lessons?! You letting them weigh you down and stop you from progressing or are you allowing yourself to adapt and be better by learning from your trials and errors?! Make sure you always look at the positive side of any situation even though it may be a difficult thing at that time, you will always learn from any situation, doesn't matter if it's a good or bad situation, you will always learn from both. It's your choice to make the most of that learnt experience!
