Making steps forward, Ladies!
Women Of NASA To Be Immortalized — In Lego Form Lego figurines of five storied female NASA pioneers will soon grace toy-store shelves. The project, proposed by a science writer, is meant to shed light on women's contributions to the space program.

Grad Student Discovers A Lost Novel Written By Walt Whitman An ad in a March 1852 edition of The New York Times led Zachary Turpin on an electronic search that uncovered a rags-to-riches novella that Whitman published anonymously.

My classes are sharing their "letters" representing their weaknesses or faults. Everything about the letter is symbolic. A very powerful couple of days in class. Thank you for sharing your stories, ladies!

An American author has not won the Nobel Prize for Literature since Toni Morrison in 1993. Congratulations to Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan, Titan Of American Music, Wins 2016 Nobel Prize In Literature The prolific musician is the first American to win the prize for lifetime literary achievement in 23 years. While Dylan long enjoyed favor as an outside shot for the award, few expected him to win.
