As a former lawyer, restorative justice practitioner, mediator, and expressive arts therapist I am ecstatic to announce the launch of my new consulting/coaching business. According to the National Task Force on Lawyer Well-being the legal profession is struggling because too many lawyers suffer from chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.http://lawyerwellbeing.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Lawyer-Wellbeing-Report.pdf This has many troubling implications including maintaining public confidence. I was driven out of the system by many of the corporate legal norms that caused this unhealthy and toxic state of being for me personally. I feel called to use my skills to assist lawyers and the field in "re-envisioning what it means to live the life of a lawyer" today. I believe it means coming from a place of deep respect, courage and a willingness to have real connections and conversations in the profession. There is so much healing to be done.
