I've been getting a LOT of questions about CONNECTION Coaching (which launches in January!!!!).

One of the most common is WHAT folks will actually learn - it's a new concept, and WAY more than 'just' communication coaching.

So, I decided to do some mini-workshops to give you a taste of what CONNECTION Coaching entails.

Ain't that the truth?!

Brene Brown talks a LOT about vulnerability in bridging gaps in relationships.

I take that into the Foundations of CONNECTION, which underscore what we help families with at The ParenTween Connection.

The first Foundation is 'Create a Safe Place.' I remember asking my Facebook 'family' years ago what a 'Safe Place' was to them......SO MANY folks said they didn't know - they'd never experienced it.

I think it's somewhere that you can share that 'mess of feelings,' however real, raw, or relatable they may be.

I help folks learn how to become a safer place for the people they care about: their families, their friends, and the people they work with (both teammates and clients).

Test Prep as a Career????

Indeed! What started in 1999 as a part-time gig during college has morphed into a long-term career. Turns out I’m pretty adept at digging in with students to help them substantially improve their test scores. I coach students around the world (from Italy to Indonesia) using online technology and still work the 'old fashioned' way with students in person, using paper & pencil or a whiteboard.

I started coaching students on the SAT, and along the way have added a multitude of other tests to the mix: ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT CARS, TOEFL, ASVAB, SSAT, ISEE, and more!
