One year old, deeply loves books! His attention span for books is incredible! Let’s celebrate that! 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🐝🐝🐝

As many of you know, a “bad guy” broke several of our windows at our preschool in the middle of the night. He broke our windows but not our spirits. The children made special pictures to make our boarded up windows look beautiful. Children’s First Collective, our early childhood advocates, designed personally made posters just for us! The posters have special messages uplifting our little souls with positivity and support! Thank you to everyone who shared the crime and shared your passion. I felt the entire community was just as heartbroken and upset as we were that someone would deface a place for children. The individual may not be mentally well and I hope he finds the help and support he needs. He hasn’t been caught yet and all I can hope is no one else, including him will suffer.
Rest assured, I am insured. It may take time to repair the windows but we are all enjoying our place at Busy Bees as though nothing has happened.🫶🏾🐝🐝🫶🏾🐝

Please share these videos and help us catch this guy and get them off the streets. He broke several windows at my Childcare center and the business next-door to us. This all happened this morning around 1:30 in the morning.

Busy Bees fights for Child Care!

$10 Billion in federal child care cuts would tear through communities across California, hurting children, families, small businesses, and local economies.
This funding keeps our children healthy, safe and cared for– making our communities strong!

Ok friends! This is real! If something doesn’t happen, wherever it is you work, you are about to be seriously short staffed! Where ever you buy your food, they will be short staffed! If you need medical services, they will be short staffed!!! Several hard working low income families are about to lose all of their child care assistance in order to work! Several child care teachers who serve those low income families, are about to lose their jobs! Owners like myself who serve the majority of low income families, will lose their entire business. Trump is cutting 10 billion dollars in Child Care Funding! Please visit Children’s First Collective and join the fight to continue care! https://www.sdchildrenfirst.org/
This Child Care freeze is going to be far more devastating than you can imagine. YMCA, CDA and Calswork will instantly freeze. Please read the news and research. We need to fight because a lot is about to go wrong while we wait to get it fixed! My landlord has been praying for the day I can’t pay rent so they can take the property I improved with government grants to improve quality care. This will be the perfect opportunity for them to sweep it right from under us. https://www.cnn.com/2026/01/06/politics/funding-child-care-democratic-states
