There will be no meeting today, April 4th. It has been cancelled due to timing conflicts.

*Young Member Event - Volunteering at the San Diego Food Bank*
SAME San Diego Post Young Members have reserved a volunteer shift at the San Diego Food Bank on Thursday 2/16/2017 @ 6-8pm. As of this posting, there are about 12 spots left.

There will be a campus tour for Marines looking to transition to college on Friday, Feb 10th. They will get the standard tour in the morning, and then meet at the Vet House at 11:30 for chow. The vet center is looking for a couple more volunteers to sit and chat with the Marines at the vet house, and then go for a focused tour of the engineering department.

As our first guest, we have the inestimable Jim Haughey. Our focus will be professional meet and greets this semester. Feel free to bring hard-charging friends to join us for these meetings. I strongly recommend refining your resume and formulating questions for our guests.

Welcome back for the Spring 2017 semester. The meeting schedule has been set and uploaded to the calendar. We are inviting a guest speaker from industry for each meeting, rotating between the engineering disciplines. Specifics on what to expect will be coming out soon.
