This page is dedicated to encouraging you to find resources that help you to live a fulfilling life as you move through the challenges of anxiety. There will be many tools that can help you on your journey and remember like anything else small steps is still progress and those small steps compound into major progress after a while. The key is to not give up. Remember nothing changes if nothing changes, moving past the resistance of staying where you are at is important and remember resistance is normal when making any type of change. One tool I have found that helps consistency in trying tools to see if they work for you or not. Here we do not promote any specific tool because we believe that every person is different and every person should be able to try different tools to see what works for them. Consistency when trying to find something that works is key, and even if you don’t have time to do something fully doing part of it is better than nothing. Meditation is a tool that may help some of you☀️ below are some of the benefits.

A lot of times, anxiety and people pleasing go hand-in-hand. The therapist Ross Rosenberg has created the codependency cure and on the left are the core issues that caused this pathological loneliness, people pleasing etc. in order to receive love. A lot of time social anxiety can be induced and at the core I have found for myself is codependency. On the right hand side are the steps from bottom to top of healing. He has a YouTube channel that explains a lot that I would highly recommend. I don’t receive any funds. I actually found it, and wanted to share it with all of you because I feel it can be a very valuable resource to healing. Let me know if any of it resonates.

The journey of healing from social anxiety and anxiety in general is a unique and personal one. When I first started my journey I thought the goal was to not have it anymore, get rid of it at all costs because if its gone then I won't feel anxious anymore. It took me years to realize that the goal is not to rid yourself of it, triggers will always be there, but the goal is to know what to do for you when triggers arise.
In order to figure out what works for you is to get to the point that you are willing to be open minded about trying things that maybe you normally wouldn't. Essentially you are finding your perfect recipe of tools, taking bits and pieces or the whole pie of a coping skill and making it into your perfect concoction to find healthy relief when triggered. Where I would start is by being honest about where you are at, this like life is a dance between being ok with where we are but knowing "where I am now is not where I will always be"( an affirmation I used over and over from my aunt, feel free to take it as your own:) this provides hope and is true. Acceptance of where you are at allows you to build on a solid foundation. Next healthy emotional relief is very important. People usually try some or all: Medication, EFT, acupuncture, meditation, CBD, prayer, aroma therapy, high Intensity interval training/exercise, dancing/ art any type of creative hobbies, guided visualizations (insert your own, explore and when things come your way try to be open to trying it, instead of deciding it won't work ahead of time)
The goal is to not just try them here and there but consistently, and take the parts that absolutely work and try new ones when needed. Use a variety and know that its worth it, because they will be oars in your boat getting you from where you are to where you want to be/goals.

If I wait to start something or to take action on something until I feel better then my emotions dictate my actions. So deciding and practicing taking action in the direction you want in spite of the emotion is key and it’s ok to fail, bc it means you are trying

The goal is not to never have anxiety, but I can tell you with personalized tools the frequency decreases & when it does arise you have an opportunity to respond differently to it.
With repeated use of your personalized tools for wellness and repeated awareness and courage to change your response to it - you will start to have the freedom from it determining your destiny. This is because your response will be different to it therefore it will not be controlling your actions.
Doing all that you can in a holistic healthy way will decrease the intensity and frequency of anxiety. Secondly and just important are accepting it when it does come and having the awareness and courage to not respond to it differently- and my friend that is breaking free. It’s the boogie monster, it tries to take of your freedom to choose what to focus on, and what you do. When you recognize you have a choice even when it doesn’t feel like it, then you can start practicing taking action in ways that change what you want for yourself and your life.
