Team LE would like to give a HUGE shout out to Alan Colombo (training for his first Ironman!!!) and Sue Ann Soll for completing the Triple Threat at Hotter'N Hell this weekend. They completed an 11-mile mountain bike on Friday, 100-mile road ride on Saturday and 13.1-mile trail run on Sunday. Talk about tough! Congrats to the both of you!!!

The Daggett Tri Club represented well at the River Cities Ironfish Kids Triathlon on Saturday (Kadari took first overall and Ebake took second overall) as well as the Sprint on Sunday, where Waki took first in his age group.

I would really like to thank Kristina Brink Large, MaryAnne Lambert, Dave & Mary Staffeld and John Rechnitzer. This couldn't have happened without the generous sponsorship by an anonymous local fellow triathlete or the hard work of the few volunteers that make this program possible. These volunteers give so much of their time and money to make these kids what they are today. I am proud to work with each of them and can't thank them enough for their endless passion for this program.

Daggett Tri Club is a far cry from just a youth triathlon club, the character these kids have built over the years is beyond description. I'm proud, and lucky, to get to work with such amazing young adults.

It seems that this summer's focus for Team LE is "First Time Ironman Dads". We are SUPER proud of Richard Keeler and his accomplishment at Ironman Boulder yesterday! It is rough, especially for your first Ironman, when conditions are not ideal and not what we planned (or hoped) for. Persevering, when you're mentally and physically drained is not easy. Rich did a phenomenal job balancing family, work and Ironman training over these past six months and we are proud to welcome him into the IRONMAN family. Congrats Rich!

Great day at River Cities Ironfish triathlon today! Kadari and Ebake took first and second overall, while Zero took second in his age group and Sharif got fourth in his age group in just his second triathlon. Very proud of these kids and looking forward to seeing their smiling faces at a water stop on the run tomorrow!

These awesome kids are headed to Louisiana today for the River Cities Iron Fish kids triathlon tomorrow. We are lucky to work with such great kids, who also give back to their community (these are pictures from them volunteering at El Scorcho this month). Thank you to two pretty awesome individuals for making this weekend's trip possible!

Team LE would like to give a HUGE CONGRATS to Robert Chapa on his completion of Ironman Canada yesterday. Through his training, this fun-loving family man never lost track of the most important things in life (like family!). On a cold, rainy day he completed a bucket list goal for himself and did it with a smile on his face the whole time. Congrats Chapa! We are proud of you!!!

So proud of you, Rachel!

This is what following the plan and hard work lead to! Congratulations to Rachel for taking just under 20 minutes off her previous personal best time at the Mayor's Triathlon yesterday. An 11th place age group finish two years ago, turned into a 2nd place finish this weekend! Great work, Rachel!!!

Silly Texas weather won't stop these kids! All of this wouldn't be possible without some amazing volunteers. Thank you Maryanne, Kristina, Mary and Frank for all you do for these kids!!!
