Join Jonah and the team at The Artist Outpost for a creative summer in Ocean Beach!

For kids ages 4–11, our camps alternate weekly between Art Camp and Pottery Camp. In Art Camp, kids explore painting, watercolor, collage, and mixed media. In Pottery Camp, they work with clay through wheel throwing and handbuilding- completing a new project each day. There is also going to be a special art/pottery combo week for teens July 6-10!

All materials are included- just bring your creativity!

From hanging artwork to adding the final touches, so much care goes into bringing this special event to life. This year’s show featured incredible work from both our students and teachers and was a beautiful celebration of the creativity that fills our studio!

Summer at The Artist Outpost = creativity, hands-on projects, new friendships, and a whole lot of fun! ☀️

This year, we’re offering two different summer camps for ages 4–11 at our Ocean Beach art studio in San Diego:

🎨 Art Camp: focused on painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, and all things 2-D art
🏺 Pottery Camp: featuring wheel throwing, handbuilding, glazing, and ceramic painting

With small class sizes and a high student-to-teacher ratio, every child gets personalized attention in a warm, supportive environment designed to help creativity thrive!

Camp days are filled with art, games, snacks, playtime, and afternoon choosing time where kids can freely explore crafts, painting, and drawing.

We’re also hosting a special Teen/Tween Camp the week of July 6 featuring elevated projects, 2-D art in the mornings, and 3-D pottery in the afternoons for older creatives.
