📣 The California Dream Act Application (CADAA) allows undocumented students who meet certain criteria to apply for state financial aid.

📌The CADAA is one of the most important forms to fill out regarding a college education and should be completed every academic year. The information supplied is used to assess a student’s financial need and gives them access to multiple sources of financial aid to help pay to attend a college, university, or vocational school.

❗️Remember: You are not required to have a Social Security Number to submit the CADAA. CADAA does not contain any questions asking for information about parents’ immigration status.

✍️ The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) has created multiple guides for CADAA. Check them out via our Linktree, link in bio!

❤️ The USS team is also here to help! Visit our website, Linktree, or email us to schedule an appointment with our staff.

Despite this decision, USS will continue to offer resources and have support systems in place to assist our undocumented students' academic, personal, and professional journeys. We have scholarships, fellowships, legal services, and various other resources that will continue to be available to ensure that they have the tools they need to thrive academically and personally.
