Most moms (myself included) were cleared for activity without guidance on how to safely return. And then jump back into workouts their bodies aren’t quite ready to support - often leading to pain, weakness, or setbacks (🙋🏻‍♀️me too).

I won’t sugarcoat it… this pi**ed me off.

So I got to work! I created ErgoMOMics®️ and made all the things I wish I’d had as a mom… like from the early weeks postpartum to now, 9 years and 2 kids later.

Motherhood triggers very real changes to how the body moves how the body feels and what the body needs.

We’re all over here trying to squeeze into pre-pregnancy workouts and pre-pregnancy jeans and missing out on all the things that actually fit and feel better for our bodies NOW.

Take this as your sign, permission, invitation to STOP doing that sh*t 🫶

📍Local? Come to class! Wednesdays 9am
REBUILD: Your return to strength, breath, and self.
I’m only running this through October so sign up early because there’s only 4 spots per class! (link in bio).

Can’t make Wednesdays? I’ve still got you:

Mommy & Me Postpartum Pilates now has a new home… and a new name too! It’s moving to my studio, Breathe Fitness, and returning to its roots as ✨ REBUILD ✨

Don’t worry, you can still bring your (non-mobile) babies and there’s still plenty of postpartum pilates happening but let me back up for a second, because this moment means more than a location change.

Nine years ago, after I had my daughter, my body felt wildly unfamiliar and unstable. I was caught in the gap between being medically cleared for pre-pregnancy activities and knowing, deep down, I wasn’t actually ready for them.

To make things harder, every postpartum fitness class and article I found was focused on “bouncing back” instead of actually building back.

So I made my own class, and teamed up with Nature’s Whisper to offer it as a drop-in at their studio.

It was about carving out space for moms to come back to their bodies and discover a different kind of strength… the kind that helps you keep up with your kids, and start feeling like you again.

🌀 Releasing tension on the foam roller
🌬️ Breathwork and core connection
💪 Exercises focused on pelvic stability + functional strength
🏡 Practical ways to bring it all back into real, everyday mom-life

When Nature’s Whisper closed, the class found a new home as a full in-person series at my own studio. It was lovely… but limited by space, and by the reality of how hard it is for moms to get out of the house on a schedule.

So I spent a year teaching myself how to build an online course. I recorded videos and guided meditations, wrote lessons, built worksheets, and turned it into a live online series. Last year, to make it even more accessible, I reworked it into its current form: an on-demand 5-week series with the same 1:1 support the live version offered. 🙌

And now? I’m bringing it back to where it all started… in person, building community, bridging the gap together, so you feel at home in your own body and strong enough for whatever lights you up 🫶

✨ LINK IN BIO - limited to 4 moms so don’t wait to snag your spot!
As always, non-mobile babies welcome!

Crunches aren’t evil… but they might not be what your body actually needs right now.

That mom pooch you’re trying to crunch away? It’s not sitting on your six-pack. It lives deeper than that.

Your deep core, the system responsible for support, stability, and keeping you from leaking when you sneeze, thrives when you can connect your breath with your movement. Not when you add more reps.

Without that connection, you can work out consistently and still feel unsupported, disconnected, or like something just isn’t working right.

That’s not a fitness failure. It’s a disconnection problem.

The Core Reset for Moms goes to the source by addressing posture, breath, neural connection and as a BONUS comes with videos for every lesson and exercise.

I know you want to feel better in your body, that’s why I made this! As a mom of 2 I have first hand experience with the postpartum disconnect. And based off my work with hundreds of moms just like you, I know these exercises are just what you need.

And it’s free 🙌. Link in bio.

Labor Day used to mean a three-day weekend… and a cookout if I was feeling ambitious 🙌

Then I had my daughter… and 36 hours of labor later, “labor” day took on a slightly different meaning.

Let’s be real, the labor doesn’t end when they hand you the baby. It just shifts.

Picking a toddler up off the floor for the fifteenth time. Holding a newborn until your neck and shoulders scream. Showing up for everyone while your own body quietly falls apart in the background.

So this Labor Day, Rebuild Your Core is 36% off… one percent for every hour I was in labor with Sierra ❤️

This isn’t a countdown timer built to make you panic-buy. It’s a 5-week program built to actually address what’s been wearing you down: the jacked hip from carrying a car-seat, the clenched jaw from always being “on”, the core that feels more like a concept than a functioning muscle group 🥴.

This doesn’t have to be your story.

I fell for the trap again, “this time will be different.” 😅

The kids are older, more self-sufficient. Surely THIS vacation, I’d actually get my planned workouts in.

Pilates ball, resistance band, foam roller… all packed, all mapped out before we even left the driveway.

Spoiler: it didn’t happen like I pictured. (It never does, and I should know better by now 🤦🏻‍♀️ this is literally what I coach on.)

Instead:
✔️ Pilates ball for inner thigh work on the long drives.
✔️ Core breathwork in the passenger seat.
✔️ Leg work built into every hike, one intentional step at a time.

Here’s the thing I keep coming back to, over and over, trip after trip: the goal was never the “perfect” workout…

✨The goal was staying connected to myself, to my body, my breath, my strength.✨

I didn’t fail… I did actually do “the thing”, it just didn’t look how I’d planned 💁🏻‍♀️.

Your body doesn’t know the difference between an official workout and a Pilates ball in the front seat. They both move you toward the same goal 💪.

💌 Share this with your mom friends who get stuck thinking the workout has to be a certain way to count.

You’re doing the crunches. The planks. All the “core” moves. And still… nothing.

🦗

Here’s the thing: your core doesn’t work alone.

It’s part of the deep front line, one continuous chain running from your toes all the way to your tongue. So when it goes quiet, going harder on the abs isn’t the best way to get through. It’s kind of just yelling louder at someone who already stopped listening.

Here’s the mom-factor: During pregnancy, as your belly grows, your core muscles are impacted. Jobs shift. Not everyone gets the memo that it’s time to switch back.

A real core reset means checking in with the whole friend group - the whole deep front line - and reminding the team how to talk to each other again.

It’s not about isolating one muscle and hoping it fixes everything. It’s about getting the whole chain back online.

It’s kind of like relationship counseling for your body 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩

Feeling like your core could use a more holistic approach? This is what Core Reset for Moms is ask about.

You’ve been told to ‘engage your core.’ But did anyone tell you to breathe first?

Your diaphragm and your pelvic floor move together… every single breath.

Inhale, the pelvic floor moves down and expands. Exhale, it lifts and contracts. That’s the natural rhythm.

But when breath patterns get disrupted (hello, pregnancy, stress, and holding everything together 24/7), that rhythm breaks down.

You end up bracing instead of breathing. Gripping instead of supporting.

And no amount of “engage harder” fixes a broken breathing pattern.

This is why the Core Reset for Moms teaches you how to work WITH this natural rhythm, not against it.

This isn’t a discipline problem…

Posture isn’t just about standing up straight. It’s about how your feet connect with the earth and how your pelvis, ribs, and head relate to each other when you’re standing, sitting, and moving.

Pregnancy shifts all of those relationships.

After delivery, there is no auto-reset.

Immediately, the repetitive tasks of parenting hit.

The body absorbs it all.

Already vulnerable from inconsistent sleep, a disconnected core, and compensation patterns adopted during pregnancy, your posture shifts. Systems are compromised.

Mom-shoulders, mom-butt, mom-pooch… they’re all postural patterns reinforced by all the carrying and feeding, the changing and comforting, and mental load of motherhood… made worse by little time to rest and little or no direction on how to actually heal, recover, and rebuild.

This lack of guidance is one of the biggest obstacles for moms desperately wanting to feel stronger, more connected, more confident in their bodies.

All the crunches in the world can’t help you reclaim these things because your core is not just some independent contractor in your body. It’s part of a whole system, it interacts with multiple teams, has multiple jobs.

It’s not that you’re not trying hard enough. It’s that the setup isn’t letting the system work.

👉 The Core Reset for Moms starts here, at the set up, so the whole system can start working together again.
