Your breath is intimately connected to your nervous system. How you breathe has a direct effect on whether you're in The Hulk 😫 or Bruce Banner 😊 mode. That's because breathing & feelings go hand-in-hand, like hummus & carrot sticks or guacamole & chips.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ever catch yourself holding your breath, breathing shallow, or suddenly taking a gasp of air?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In that moment, there's a BIG opportunity for you to own and change your energy! But hoooow?!? 🤔 Don't worry! I gotcha covered. Here's how...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
PAUSE and pay attention!... to whatever the thought & related emotion is that's rattling around in your noggin 🤯 right before your breath short-circuits. Now, process that energy - that feeling - with one of these 5 breathing exercises. Each one supports you turning your stressed energy OFF and your calm energy ON. (With each breath, inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth with the specific sound at least 3x.)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
MY EMOTION is...
😨 Nervousness. Fear. Panic. | Breathe out a "Shaaay" sound from your kidneys.
😠 Frustration. Anger. Hopeless. | Breathe out a "Ssss" sound from your liver.
☹️ Lonely. Discouraged. Unhappy. | Breathe out a "Haaaa" sound from your heart.
😬 Worry. Anxious. Needy. | Breathe out a "Whooo" sound from your spleen.
😢 Grief. Sadness. Regret. | Breathe out a "Heee" sound from your lungs.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Try doing all 5 in a row to TURN OFF the circuitry of stressed emotions and TURN ON positive emotions so you get that electrical juice flowing through your veins. It feels so good! 😄🥳

I earth. Do you?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"What's earthing?!", 🤔 you ask....It’s one of the simplest ways to change your energy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All you do is take off your shoes and wiggle those pudgy little toes 👣 of yours in the dirt, the grass, the sand. Whatever tickles your fancy. Or, your toes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you haven't watch this too-cool-for-school YouTube documentary 🎥 - then grab some 🍿 and enjoy 75 min of pure nerd joy learning how EASY it is to change your energy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It reveals the stunning and consistent benefits of the electromagnetic relationship between the human body and the earth.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ooooh man...I’m a sucker for anything electromagnetic! #🤓
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While watching the documentary, Dr. Gaetan Chevalier, a physicist from Quantum University, so eloquently reminded me that we live inside a battery.🔋
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That beautiful blue sphere we affectionately refer to as Earth. 🌎
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And when we need to RECHARGE our bodies of energy, standing barefoot on the earth is one of the simplest ways to do it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s because, daily, our 🌞 splits molecules and sends a bundle of negative and positive charges to our ionosphere - about 60 miles above our heads. Then, when lightning strikes the earth, it’s a welcome home electron party! ⚡⚡⚡
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The earth fills up with tons of negative energy making the surface of the earth electrically conductive.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wireless charging anyone?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your skin-to-earth contact is like cordless charging. You collect electrons that come from the sun every time you stand on the earth barefoot.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No plug required.👣+🌍=😊
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The coolest part? You and I have a lifetime invitation to the party.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Beam...No, CHARGE me up Scotty!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you ever need to fill up your battery of energy, just slip off those Nike Air Zooms and...EARTH.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you wake up tomorrow with only the things you were thankful for today, what would you end up with?

The energy you send out today sets up the energy you receive tomorrow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Pause...take a moment to share at least 🔸1🔸thing you want to surround yourself with tomorrow. #🙏

Raise your vibration and the universe will meet you there.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whatcha waiting for? It's a "Meet and Greet" you won't want to miss. 😉
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's 5 easy ways to get there now:
🔹Take a DEEP BREATH to calm your nervous system.
🔹Text someone what you APPRECIATE about them and notice how good that feels inside.
🔹STRETCH to release any bunched up energy from sitting too long.
🔹HUG someone and activate a cascade of stress-reducing oxytocin in the brain.
🔹Listen to MUSIC at the frequency of 528hz. It's known to align with a feeling of peace. "Imagine" by John Lennon is one of those songs.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ok...tell me 👇 which one you'll try today to raise your vibe.✨⠀⠀⠀⠀

You, me, someone - every day - has a negative critical voice inside that pokes, jabs, digs (and even punches) at them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If that's you, you're not alone AND you have a choice.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can either reject it or give birth to it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How long you nurture that critical voice makes all the difference. Maybe you don't know the exact moment it was conceived - somewhere, some place in your childhood - a seed was planted from a painful life experience that created your critical inner voice.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I get it. I've had plenty of those seeds planted in mine.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
BUT now when that critical voice shows up - like a seed in the womb of your mind - the one that says...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I have no support. Life is so unfair. I must survive. I can't thrive." ...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've learned, you can either incubate it, carry it through three trimesters and birth it into a "This Is Who I Am" life full of struggle OR...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can reject it and say, "This doesn't belong to me." And stop nurturing in the womb of your mind the seeds of negativity.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The moment I owned that inner critical voice, I could change it and give birth to new self-healing, self-nurturing thoughts that I love. You can too!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tell me *one* positive thought you'd like to give birth to today.💚🌻💚

Anxiety.😥 It's not my go-to emotion, BUT I know so many who struggle with it. Are you one of them?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you get that heart-racing, panic-feeling, sweaty-palm sensation cascading down your body? Let me help.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's a simple way to change your energy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1) Close your eyes and open up your breath. Breathe in and out through your nose.
2) Begin to tap gently on the back of your hand in the dip between your little finger and ring finger.
3) Scan your body and notice where the anxiety lives. Notice its color, shape, texture or temperature.
4) Take a deep inhale and as you exhale imagine your breath moves this energy outside of your body, placing it at a distance.
5) Now visualize this energy move in any way it needs to - vigorously or slowly - whatever movements are necessary until it's completely exhausted and totally dissolves. Take your time. Breathe.
6) Next, while still tapping, visualize a peaceful, beautiful color. Breathe this color into the original area you identified in #3 above. Exhale and let the color sink in deeply.
7) Relax your hands and open your eyes when you feel a calming shift.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Use this exercise with any negative emotion you'd like to change into positive energy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Drop me a 💚 if you're all for changing negative feelings into beautiful colors.

Ripple effect. Cause and effect. Domino effect.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Or, what I call "You effect."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Like a pebble dropped in a pond that ripples out its vibration across the water...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Every thought you have,
Every feeling you emote,
Every belief you carry,
Every word you speak,
Every action you take...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ripples out your vibration into the world.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your energy affects everything you do and everyone you know. And, so does mine.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's a few pebbles I rippled out in 2019...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔸Thinking "It's important to have me time" rippled out to a 9-day solitude retreat with nature and horses that nourished my heart and refreshed my soul.

🔸Feeling disappointed, discouraged and disconnected rippled out into a deeper awareness that I resonated with an old limiting family pattern of "I don't exist", and a profound vibrational shift of being recognized and needed.

🔸Believing "I deserve to wake up feeling vibrant and alive" attracted a functional medicine practitioner that's helping me recover from a bad case of mold poisoning.

🔸Speaking my truth, again and again, to my husband about my undeniable spiritual needs led to a long awaited positive change in our spiritual routine.

🔸Taking the concrete action of creatively writing at least 350 words a day rippled out into this post.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whew! Lots of pebbling. Lots of rippling. Lots of effecting... in 2019. Now it's time for 2020.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm ready to ripple!!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Are you? Tell me 1 thing below 👇 that you rippled out in 2019. Or, want to ripple out in 2020.

It doesn't get any easier than this to raise your vibration! Take off your shoes and wiggle those toes into the grass, the sand, the dirt. Absorb the earth's electromagnetic goodness and get grounded. I love this documentary! It brings me such nerd joy. A must watch. 🤩🤩

"The Earthing Movie" is a documentary revealing the science of 'grounding' & calling us to reconnect with Earth.
