Nobody tells you when you’re starting out that the small projects are the ones that teach you everything.
We started Forth+Back right out of college. No big clients. No safety net. Just a belief that if we made the work interesting enough, the right people would eventually notice.
Had a great time visiting our friend at recently, speaking to his SVA class about exactly that. How you get from nothing to something. How the constraints early on aren’t the obstacle. They’re the brief.

The final night of Jordan’s NBA All-Star Weekend closed with the Battle of LA, a high-stakes 3v3 ⛹️♂️ tournament that brought together teams from some of the city’s most iconic brands and stores. Our identity extended from team jerseys to courtside signage and environmental graphics, carried throughout the competition.

For NBA All-Star Weekend, Friday night culminated in a house party🏠 at the Jordan Brand House in Inglewood. It featured an all-women lineup with DJs such as Erykah Badu, Aye Jaye, Osh Kosh, Silky C, and more, along with appearances from Luka Dončić, Teyana Taylor, and friends.
Our identity was injected throughout the space across signage, graphics, and digital moments, extending the system throughout the night🔊

🏀⭐️ For NBA All-Star Weekend 2026 in LA, Jordan Brand took over the city with Inglewood at the center. Our studio helped shape a cohesive identity across every touchpoint for the event, from the Jordan Brand House to retail locations throughout the city and beyond.
The Jordan Brand House became the heartbeat of the weekend, hosting tournaments, dance battles, swap meets, and clinics. Drawing from MJ’s Black/Infrared AJVI, the palette of bold infrared and deep black carried across all collateral. From signage and invites to wayfinding and scoreboards, each element blended the heritage of blackletter with a manipulated Jordan sans. The system leaned into imperfection, authenticity, and the textures of LA.
More to come!!
Huge shouts to the amazing team at

The Deep State: Art, Culture & Florida explores the strange, sun-soaked mythology Florida projects into the American imagination. The book traces the evolution of art in the state from its earliest chapters to the present day, uncovering forgotten histories, overlooked perspectives, and the icons and outsiders who have shaped a cultural landscape unlike anywhere else. Featuring work by Harmony Korine, Zaha Hadid, John Singer Sargent, Damien Hirst, Gary Indiana, Bunny Yeager, and many more. The book debuted during Art Basel Miami.
We were commissioned by and worked alongside producer .dison to design the 228-page hardcover, aiming to embody the same eccentricity, mystery, and wonder found within its pages. The cover features original artwork by Harmony Korine, printed on a thick, high-gloss stock with a bold spine hit that bleeds over the edge, a tactile gesture that echoes the book’s eccentric, offbeat spirit.

Xeno 🎬 is a sci-fi adventure film written and directed by Matthew Loren Oates. The story centers on a teenage girl who forms an unexpected bond with an alien after it crash-lands near her desert home 🛸🌵 The film stars Lulu Wilson, Omari Hardwick, and Trae Romano, and was produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat. The alien character, Croak, was designed and built by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop 👾
Forth+Back was brought on to develop a bold, nostalgic visual identity that nods to classic ’80s blockbusters. Our studio designed a custom title wordmark for the film, as well as created the film’s title sequences using the studio’s typeface, Drool. We also produced a suite of promotional collateral using bespoke visual assets from the film, marking our first feature-length film title project, with Xeno featured in theaters across the U.S. ✅
