Dribble to Finish
Cones in a square 3 yards apart
* Start with a touch left of right then decelerate.
* Change direction by lowering center of gravity.
* Figure 8 around cones.
* Reach the Red Cone and set up for a shot.
* Make sure you look where you want to shoot and attack the ball!
* Alternate between your left and right.
Agility T Drill
Cones 5-6 yards apart
* Start with a quick sprint then decelerate.
* Change direction by lowering center of gravity.
* Use your arms to stay in balance and propel you to the next direction.
* Repeat.
* Try this with a ball!
Passing and Receiving Exercise
Set Up - Cones 3x3 yards, ball, and passing partner.
* Receive w/inside or outside of the foot.
* Turn your body/shift body position if needed.
* Touch the ball outside the square.
* Reach out to the ball and bring back.
* Pass back to partner and reset.
* Repeat.
Look to vary area used to receive and add different moves to turn back to square. This exercise is good for any player looking to improve their receiving and taking a purposeful touch to a evade defenders.
Exercise to Change Directions
* Touch w/outside of the foot.
* Turn your body wards the ball.
* Reach out to the ball w/your outside foot.
* Drag back w/cleats.
* Shift your body weight to the outside foot.
* Bring inside w/your other foot.
* Repeat.
Step over skill move to beat your defenders. Step over, drop your shoulder, catch your balance, and take your touch away. Repeat and perfect.
Start off by getting the ball of the ground and then transition to 2-touch juggling back and forth. How many cycles can you go through?

SF Elite Academy joins Girls Academy League San Francisco Elite Academy joins the Girls Academy League.
A series of exercises you can do at home w/an elastic band. Start by juggling the ball for your record then head into the workout.
12 single leg squats
30s dynamic lateral bounds
30s star plank
12 split stance band overhead press
15 band high pull
30s ball russian twists
30s straight-leg sit ups
Do a total of 4 sets.
