Holidays are coming. Some of us love this time. Some of us not so much. And some are spending it alone Living on the memories of how it used to be, when everyone knew your name. They are alone. Them and four walls. Not just now. They are alone and Lonely and Isolated, because they are Old. Their family is far. Different state. Different country - you know we are all so transient.
Who are "they" you ask? They are our Parents who lives far from their children. They are our teachers from elementary; secondary school or college. They live few doors down from you.
And they are Lonely.
I could not stand on the side line and see how lonely our parents are. Once I saw it, I could not unsee it. So Social Bridge was born. In social bridge we choose to play in the arena.
You have a choice to make - do you join us in the arena?

You see - together we can solve the Elders' Isolation and loneliness. Social Bridge is committed to provide solutions for Elder Loneliness. We believe it is our social and moral obligations to provide solutions for this dessis we are facing.
We, at social bridge are not willing to stand and talk about the issue. We are actively looking for the Elders and create a circle of support around them. To knock on their door and see how they are doing. We are DOers.
