I'm reading a lot of posts from parents who are saying their student was accepted to X college or some group of colleges and now that they have seen the tuition estimates are saying they can't afford any of these schools and what are they supposed to do? It makes me sad to read these posts. When building a college list it is imperative to consider cost along with whether the school is a reach/target/expected. Have that conversation with your student before applying to avoid a disappointment or worse.
