I am not making this request without noting that many of our homeless are veterans who may suffer from mental health issues they developed due to serving our country. As a veteran myself I know how hard it can be to reintegrate back into society. I proudly serve on the board of Changing Homelessness and donate not only my time but also my money, because I want to see change.
