Problem solving requires perseverance and continual effort. If the problem is large and complex, it requires a diverse team and significant effort. A team that is complementary to identify all kinds of risks.

Here are the steps to solve any problem:
1) Understand the problem
2) Identify the root cause
3) Define the solutions
4) Implement the solutions
5) Verify the problem is addressed

Problem solving skills are transferable. Leaders and managers must be good in problem solving. It require significant effort to hone these skills.
